I heard the song go, “Bado, safari bado,”

on a sunny morning in Wanging’ombe Hospital.

The cleaning dada was playing it from her phone

while slowly wiping the floor.

I found out the meaning later:

“The journey of life is not over yet.”

Yes — life is an unfinished journey.

And I began another one from that sunny morning,

when everything was beautifully in peace and silence.
